Sho-Hott's 21st Birthday!

My cousin Samantha (aka 'Sho-Hot Sam') turned 21 years old last week so all the cousins got together to celebrate! We went for all-you-can-eat Chinese food (lobster and the waffles were my fave!), and then we went Cosmic bowling. I wasn't sure if I'd be up for bowling, but I managed to stay up just enough to watch a bit of the bowling. It was also Jacen's first time at a bowlerama! I'm not too sure he enjoyed the loud sounds of the ball hitting the pins, but he looked great glowing in the dark!!

National Home Show

Ron and I went to the National Home Show today with his sister Rose and husband Gary. Ron gets free tickets every year, so we like to check it out every now and then. The best part was Ron's parents offered to babysit so we were baby-free for the day! It was a lot of walking around, and we were disappointed that P&G wasn't there this year (we always get some free stuff we like to try out from their booth).

It was a nice day out, however and Ron and I haven't gone out with just the two of us in a while! :)

My hair brush...

Since my teenage years, I haven't had to use a hair brush for my hair. You see, my hair was very low maintenance - and so thick that after every wash, it would just dry on its own and be fine. I could run my hands through it, and I never got any tangles since it was so thick.

Fast forward to today. I noticed recently that my hair has started falling off (yes, love those hormones!)... and not only that, it's started thinning out a bit to a point that I found knots and tangles in my hair. What an experience!

So today, after shopping at Promenade mall with Quel and Jacen - we headed to Walmart and I purchased my first hair brush! Let's hope it helps keep my hair on my head!!

Superbowl Sunday!

We headed out to D+G's place for their Superbowl party! Saads was there for a bit before she headed to her own party and finally got to meet Jacen! Yay! I don't really know football all that well, but Ron follows it and always answers my questions when we watch it together that I've gotten to know the basics of the game.

While most of the party peeps were downstairs in the basement, the girls, Jacen and I stayed mainly in the kitchen...eating and chatting! Especially loved those yummy cupcakes Menalle! Thanks for hosting Superbowl Sunday D+G!
